Dallas Cowboys - FOOTBALL!

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, the brand new NFL Season is almost here and that only means one thing for football bettors here in God's green earth, another season of intense NFL football betting phenomenon is about to take place.

Can Terrell Owens lead the Dallas Cowboys to the promise land? Terrell Owens, together with Drew Bledsoe, form one of the more formidable quarterback - wide receiver tandems in the league. Can they be successful together?

More importantly, can they co-exist?

After being so dominant during the regular season, they failed yet again to reach the promise land in all of football. To say that the Cowboys are desperate coming into the brand new NFL Season on September could very well be an understatement.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Atlanta, a troubled man is desperate to redeem himself after two disappointing stints with two different teams. Terrell Owens is desperate to win, he'll do anything just to erase those two stints with the 49ers and the Eagles that were so ugly, it echoes through every locker room in the league.

One phone call made it all clear what these two football icons have to do. Help each other.

Bledsoe had an incoming call from an unfamiliar number, originating from area code 678. He turned to his longtime agent, Athletes First's David Dunn, and asked where 678 was. Dunn told him Atlanta. ''Who's calling me from Atlanta?'' Bledsoe asked.

Bledsoe touched green and retreated to a quiet area behind the tee. When he returned to his cart, before ending the conversation, the last thing he told the caller was, ''Thanks for calling, man. This the best number to reach you? Let's light this thing on fire.''

It was Terrell Owens, calling for help, desperate to come out with a fresh start, a good one with his new quarterback, Drew Bledsoe. Maybe after everything T.O. went through, this disgruntled wide receiver might just have learned his lesson.

Terrell Owens signed with the Dallas Cowboys for a three-year, $25 million contract that could either make or break the storied name of this team from Texas. From the glory years of Troy Aikman and Emmit Smith, Drew Bledsoe and Terrell Owens will do the impossible and try to at least match the success those two legendary football icons gave to this franchise.

It could take a while but if both these guys are desperate, (Drew Bledsoe is in year 14 with the league) they don't have the luxury of time.
